Lamb Skewers

Mix all ingredients for the marinade together in a bowl. Put the lamb into the marinade and give it a good stir to ensure the meat is well covered with marinade. Leave this to marinade, preferably overnight, but a few hours will also be ok. When you’re ready to barbecue, put the lamb on skewers with a piece of pepper or onion between each cube.
To barbecue, get your barbecue going, once the coals begin to go grey, brush the metal rack well with oil and place your skewers on the barbecue. Cook them for approx. 2-5 minutes depending on the BBQ heat, turn them and cook again for 2-5 minutes, repeat this until all sides are noticeably cooked.
